Young Malaysian Rider Qabil Irfan Azlan Clinches Overall Victory in 2023 MiniGP World Series in Valencia, Spain

In a remarkable performance on Thursday, 11-year-old Malaysian racer Qabil Irfan Azlan secured the overall championship title in the 2023 MiniGP World Series held in Valencia, Spain.

True to his commitment to surpass last season’s achievements, the young prodigy showcased his exceptional talent in the field of motor racing.

At the Ricardo Tarmo Kart Circuit yesterday, Qabil demonstrated outstanding skills by achieving a hat-trick of victories in Race 1, Race 2, and the Superfinal, amassing a perfect score of 100 points. This stellar performance led to Qabil being crowned the overall champion in the fiercely contested 160cc category.

“Alhamdulillah, I am grateful for winning today’s races, and I want to express my gratitude to the ZK Racing team for preparing my machine. Special thanks to my parents who have always supported me. I am truly delighted to secure three victories today,” said Qabil, who completed the Superfinal in 14 minutes and 8.764 seconds.

As a result of these outcomes, Japanese rider Kotaro Togashi secured the second position overall with 76 points, followed by Spanish rider Enzo Zaragoza in third place with a total of 65 points.
